Energy Sources

The continued use of non-renewable energy sources, ie mainly oil and gas, is responsible for major environmental problems. Presented below photographs of the main of them.

The "extreme weather" events, heavy rains and floods, droughts, hurricanes have peak even in our country in recent years is the result of a prescribed course for any adult who does not feel the need to apologize to the coming generations .
All this is why we seek constantly to an unreasonable way of growth and prosperity. But any development is not synonymous with progress and prosperity. The development and progress are compatible only when secured and renewed the natural foundations of life, when this does not mortgage the future. But when the growth and progress refers only to the reporting and display of quantitative terms, of this growth and progress coexist with large, global environmental problems that are important:

The increase in world population
The world population is currently estimated to amount to 6.1 billion in 2050 and is estimated to reach 9.3 billion. This is not the baby boom but also in reducing mortality.

Over-exploitation of natural resources
According to WWF estimated that each year the pumping of natural resources over 20% of the planet's ability to replenish them. According to the same source estimated that by 2050 the global population will consume 180 to 220% of the biological resources of the planet.

Climate change
The carbon dioxide produced by fossil is that it contributes heavily to climate change on earth.
This is the greenhouse effect whose consequences are unpredictable:
; Climate Change
· Effects of agricultural production
· Melting ice
· Rise in sea level
· Destruction of coastal areas and of course several other
