A clean planet requires large cuts from the nations that have the highest rates of infection, especially from America, Australia and Europe. But there is hope to save this planet. Today we use energy more efficiently. The technology of environmentally friendly energy such as wind and solar energy is very close to the stage to become competitive and perhaps more economical than the energy provided by fossil fuels. The agreement to reduce carbon dioxide emissions under the Kyoto Protocol, can provide strong economic incentives for cleaner forms of energy. Soon, the majority of electricity comes from solar and most cars will be powered by hydrogen, while the creation of new forest areas and the special treatment of the habitat of the oceans will help to further reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere created previous generations.
The challenge is not difficult to win. We have the technology to perhaps avert the worst threat to human civilization that we face at the end of the last Ice Age. But there is real political will?Despite the ongoing industrialization in many parts of the world, the emission of carbon dioxide increased at the same rapid pace as expected. As we have seen, the emission of carbon dioxide globally has increased by only 6% in the decade of 1990. The current relatively low emission of pollutants can be attributed partly to the collapse of the economies of the USSR and Eastern Europe, but is still two long-term trends: the increased efficiency of energy use in many countries and reduce the use of a " dirty fuel, coal.
We have built almost anywhere, affecting aquatic ecosystems in order to obtain land for cultivation, logging or burning forests, open throughout the streets, destroying or poisoning many animal forms that we harm our interests are varied and spread waste of our environment regardless synepeies.Parallel for us "we like" the captured animals or products we can produce from them and maintain a legal and illegal trade in wild animals (parrots, songbirds, various reptiles, mammals with fur or ivory, chimpanzees, several monkeys, etc.), with terrible and unforeseeable consequences, just to satisfy our whims. This makes it even more inhospitable place on earth for many species of wild animals.
We call such a set of actions, measures and projects to be taken to prevent environmental degradation or restoration, maintenance or improvement. The policy adopted to protect the environment should have clear objectives of this program and appropriate methodology.
According to the prevailing culture of the old years, earth is seen as a place with unlimited space and resources, where the ever-growing technology, production and consumption are determinants of human welfare. When an area contaminated as a result of human actions are moving elsewhere to try to solve the problem through technology - the potential depletion of natural resources like oil for example we are not worried.
Today, after finding that the above reasoning leads to a dead end is an attempt to establish new rules in order to maintain growth and future life on earth. Sustainable exploitation of natural resources when we are used to measure and eventually despite their use is not reduced or degraded. Instead, where possible through appropriate manipulation improve these resources and can be used by the coming generations.
Water, food, oxygen, energy and so much more ... Humans use the environment in many ways, essential to life. It must preserve the environment and to exploit wisely: the health of even the very survival. Since the early 1970's, Europe has strong commitment to the environment: protection of ambient air and water, conservation of natural resources and biodiversity, waste management and activities having adverse effects include between the fields of European action at Member States and internationally. The objective of EU environmental policy, based on Article 174 of the Treaty establishing the European Community, is to ensure the sustainable development of the European social model, regardless of whether the corrective measures to address specific environmental problems or measures covering most areas or integrated into other policy areas.
One problem is the sea where oil is most often inadvertently, from ships to pass from one side to another. This leads to die several species of fish and birds living in the seas. We must discuss and find a solution to this because it is so pity to spoil instead of making nature.
150 years ago the air was pure and clean, perfect for breathing people and animals of the earth. Then people started making factories. The factories and many of the things they produce, such as cars leave much harmful gases into the atmosphere. Cars made the air pollution even more. Today in some places the air is so polluted that it is dangerous to the breathing. Even with this infection have a problem with the ozone hole that helps us because it prevents them from passing the rays of the sun are bad for our skin and leaves those that do not have anything. Environmental pollution also affected the rivers, lakes, seas infected because we ourselves are there empty trash and various other chemicals. That we do now will later are against us because they pollute the atmosphere without knowing the risks they have.
The gradual pollution and environmental degradation caused by human activity and especially the industrial development of our time.
All agencies accept the influence of the environment and other beings and in turn impact on them, so as to create a unity of relations characterized by the dynamic equilibrium governing it. Under normal circumstances this balance is not disturbed and remain unaffected by the nature of the functional activities of animals and plants. The plants through photosynthesis forming organic substances, are eaten by herbivores, and these in turn by the carnivores, at a sequence called the food chain. The death of carnivores back to the soil-containing substances and inorganic form now absorbed by plant roots to resume the cycle of life. It is therefore obvious that the conservation of a species depends on maintaining the others, because no organization can not live alone. If you destroy the habitat, ie a living room type, and this will destroy the very kind, will find food. Eg the release of gases that cause serious damage to plants (such as carbon dioxide) means the corresponding harm to the animals that depend on them.
